Pepper Mix contains a blend of coarsely ground Bell Peppers, Cayenne Peppers, Chilli Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Ginger and Locust Beans.
Use the Mix to make the popular Ofada Sauce or as a base for Spinach Stew (Efo Riro)
Soak the pepper mix in warm water for 20 minutes. Then fry in bleached or Palm Oil. Add your choice of meat fish or chicken diced in cubes. Add boiled eggs if required. Add salt or stock cubes to taste.
Makes 8 – 10 portions.
Serve with white, ofada (brown) or basmati rice.
